Longarm Quilting Services
Price list
My fees for custom longarm quilting services are charged by the square inch. Multiply the length by the width of your top and you will have the total square inches. For example, a top that measures 60 inches by 80 inches totals 4800 square inches.
All-over Design Longarm Quilting Services
This is using a simple freehand design from one edge to the other edge including the borders. Designs would include large meanders, loops, stars, swirls, hearts and simple flower designs.
$0.015 per square inch – minimum charge $35
Body and Border Longarm Quilting Services
The borders would be quilted using a design that is separated from the body of the quilt. Quilting in the body would be distinctly different from the borders. Freehand designs would be used in both body and border.
$0.02 per square inch – minimum charge $45
Custom Longarm Quilting Services
This type of quilting involves special attention to the design of your top. Use of some stencils and rulers, small amounts of stippling and/or stitch in the ditch would be included here. Sampler blocks that would require different designs in each block would be included in this category since they require more time to execute.
$0.025 to $0.035 per square inch – minimum charge $50
Battings
I carry several kinds of batting that have proven to be superior batts for longarm machine quilting. If you would like to use a different batting of your choice, or you need a size larger that 95 inches wide, contact me by email and we can discuss those options.

Other Charges for Longarm Quilting Services Charges
- Thread - quilts less than 7225 square inches $ 5.00
- quilts more than 7225 square inches $ 8.00 - Variegated Threads – available upon request: email for price quote
- Thread changes - $2.00 per color after the first color
- Piecing backs - $5.00 per seam
- Squaring backs - $5.00
- Turning the quilt, if necessary to stitch borders - $10.00
Binding Services
This includes preparing the binding from one yard of fabric that you provide, any excess fabric will be returned with your completed quilt.
Attaching your binding to the front only, by machine - $0.08 per linear inch
Complete double fold French binding, machine stitched to the front and hand stitched to the back $0.25 per linear inch
Mailing Your Quilts
Use the shipping method you prefer. Please enclose your top and back in a clear plastic bag and include your return address and my mailing address inside the box as well as on the outside. Download, print, and complete the work order form (pdf). Please address it to my personal name rather than business name. I will return your completed quilt by USPS. Please indicate the amount of insurance you prefer. Shipping costs will be added to your invoice.
